Best way to hang pothos?

I'm getting my chams new cage soon and I'm wanting to hang her plants for easier poo and cleaning access. I put rocks on the bottom of the pots for drainage and rocks on top so my pots are a little heavy. What's the best way to hang these? I'm thinking I could place a 2 by 4 across the top and get some garage hooks or hanging hooks screw them in and then hang but I don't want the new cage to cave in especially if the cham is hanging on it making it more heavy obviously.

What type of cage do you have? Also, just how heavy is that pot?

I have Pothos plants hanging in my little Reptarium cages. They're the kind with the fabric mesh over pvc frames. I used this stuff:

to create an X from corner to corner of the pvc, then hung the plant from the center.

Her new 2x2x4 repribreeze should be here today. I was also thinking of this but didn't want all corners to cave in or screen to be in a bind. I'm guessing your having no issue with this? Do you use rocks?

Oh idk the weight of the pot plant rocks and soil. I could weigh them if this would help? Ill probably get a bigger pot and combine them. What about some kind of stand to put in the cage? I mainly want to hang it so the vines could actually be used.

I've just got three large zip ties holding mine up around the frame in my reptibreeze and it's a large pothos and I've never had a problem, them vivs are stronger than u would think

Set a piece of wood across the top and use it to hang the plants from with fishing wire. I have also used the framing and fishing wire with success.

I recently just put together a 2x2x4 screen cage and did the same thing. I put my pothos and hung them in the corner of the cage. I took a 2x4 piece of wood and laid it across the top of the cage and drilled a hole to start a bicycle hook and it worked perfectly.

That's whatt Ill be doing and maybe some wire to reinforce it. Glad to see someone else that's done it this way with success:) thanks.

I never thought of this either. Atleast with the PVC and wire I could hang it however high. Thanks very much for the ideas everyone.

I use a PVC 90 and an 8-10 inch piece of pipe to attach the basking light. You can move the vertical pipe to raise and lower the basking light. It really works great that way and you have the option of using any of the 4 corners of the H shape to work from.
