Best website to buy BSFL?

Didn't you say you bought them from Symton?
https://symtonbsf.com/pages/faqs
Yes sir or milady, I did but it was technically bought through Amazon from them. I’ll put the link at the bottom. I just misunderstand their directions. I ended up accidentally getting rid of the mix they came in and just gave them organic waste/veggies. They said it was sand, so didn’t think they should stay in it. And I had accidentally done it before I saw the responses from people on here. Oops, lol. Gonna have to order some more but will probably go through who we go to for roaches, which is www.dubiaroaches.com.
I know they still get their BSFL’s from Symton but they offer them in smaller quantities. So that’s good. Here’s the Amazon link:Symton Feeding Grade Black... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075HB897L?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Won't help me any. Unless there's some overriding reason (like a huge price difference) I prefer to deal directly as I can with an entity. Personal contact & relationship is even better. Then if anything goes wrong (ahem!) it's generally easier to resolve. ;) (Yes, I know Amazon's pretty good about that.)

I haven't done a price comparison for different companies yet - just shopping around to see how the ordering experience and products differ.
Since this is such a competitive area, and sales, specials, & policies can change often, we found it helpful to build a spreadsheet of various vendors, and make quick spot-checks at order time (usually about 4X per year for us). Sometimes the same vendor has the best price—sometimes another does.

We do prefer to sticking with a particular vendor, but things can change, and stuff can happen.
Best (IMO) to be prepared. ;)

I just figured they’d get it here faster. Is all, lol. It was the first time I bought insects through them and of course any problem I have ever had, they fix it immediately. We have been trying out different companies etc.. to see which ones we prefer the most, have the most communication, best prices, deliver on time/alive etc.... I’ll probably just go through the actual website, if I buy from them again. Although I would prefer to go with a company that has all the insects I need, so I don’t keep ordering from multiple companies. Still new to ordering insects online. Trying to figure it all out. Really appreciate all advice given!!! Thank you all!!!

I wouldn't argue with any of that—it's all valid.

Just FYI, Symton now carries other kinds of feeders, so you may be able to get everything there, depending on which feeders you prefer. Can't hurt to look. ;)

200 BSFL from dubiaroaches.com is 5.00$ I use to order from joshes frogs until I found dubiaroaches.com the money I save every month is amazing.

Wow that's a great deal. My issue is I don't need 1,000 BSFL. I'd end up with a swarm of flies lmao. So while Symton has good deals for bulk, I can't justify ordering that much.

They must have changed their min. IIRC, our order was for 200 or 250.
These are the kinds of things I was talking about though; the best deals can change, depending on how well they're selling at a given price, shipping, amounts, whether there's a surplus, etc., etc.
To us, it's worth the quick check & comparison a few times a year.

While doing the most recent check, I found our beardie breeder was selling off surplus dubias at a very attractive price, but they had already sold out by the time we found out. :(

C'est la vie
