Big Apple Mister?

Javsto is absolutely right, none of those name brand misting systems are worth the money they ask for. You can do it yourself for a fraction of the price.

I would argue that the Mistking system is worth every penny! It is very well made and has made my life way easier.... But I use it to mist 9 cages for over an hour each day. If you only have one or two cages, it might be just as easy to mist by hand. That being said, I have also used the Big Apple system (re-branded by a local company) it isn't worth a dime! A cheap piston pump that has a duty cycle of 5 minutes on, 5 off... meaning the max time you can mist for is 5 minutes without the the thing over heating and becoming dangerous. Also if it runs dry for whatever reason it will start to melt down and become a real FIRE HAZARD! Mine melted the hoses attached to it and stunk so bad I was worried it might poison my chams! If you are considering purchasing a system stick with Mistking or the aqua-zamp mistclone. Cheers!

Thank you very much Jim! That is exactly the honest feedback I was looking for :)
