Bio active Exo terra's??? Do you have them?

LOL we will see about anything living going into it. Right now I am just toying with the idea of setting up a little living world to try my hand and bio active.

Bioactivity is living, newb!

You should make a carnivorous plant bog(like one you'd find in the Carolinas) with some other aquatic/semi aquatic plants. And maybe add a larger salamander(which is also native to that area).

Are you picking on me? Guess who will get the last laugh? Me! Because you will be the one I bother endlessly with questions if I actually decide to do this. :hilarious:

Hey everyone. Recently I have been toying with setting up a small bio active exo terra. Not even for an animal just to try my hand with a bio active environment. I love the idea of having a small waterfall in it as well. Not sure the best way to achieve this other then dividing the exo and having a siliconed divider in the bottom so one part could hold water and the other the bio active layers. Would love to learn more if you have any links you could share that would be great.
Ooh I used to build terrariums and I have an awesome waterfall system that is fairly easy

watch some vids on Sherpa designs to learn how to set this up. But u basically put the block on the bottom where a water source is (lil micro pond with some tarp and cover tarp with rocks or dirt) and the tube get burried under the soil up then it will trickle down so it’s a continuous cycle

I actually love these very much. Had one when I was in high school and built a terrarium for him half water with a little river running to the water. Had no idea what I was doing and it looked like crap lol
It's true you have to have something in there! Maybe a teeny pair of poison dart frogs? Or even better a brookesia!
