Basking temps are 94-103 uvb is a linear t8 5.0 that I think might be burnt out so I have a compact 5.0 at the basking spotHave you looked for a recent poo? You could try giving her a bath…it triggers some to poo. Giving canned pumpkin and prune baby food also promotes pooping.
I wouldn’t worry too much about not drinking. Spike never drank from a bowl and so I don’t even bother giving him one anymore and his urates are white.
What are your basking and ambient temps? What strength uvb and how far away is it?
It’s possible she doesn’t like the substrate. Spike had a fit when I tried to give him a bioactive enclosure.
What is the distance of your uvb to basking area?Basking temps are 94-103 uvb is a linear t8 5.0 that I think might be burnt out so I have a compact 5.0 at the basking spot
Give her a soak in 100°F water (about 1½" deep) for 20-30 minutes. It'll cool down fast after you put her in, so keep replacing some of it to keep it near 100°. After a few minutes, she'll likely hunker down into it.She also hasn't pooped in a while now I'm worried beacause she's not going down for water however i do only see her in the morning and evening so maybe she does stuff then???
Ok I'll check the bulb type I have and I'll see the inch to percent ratio of it to see what I have to changeI’m going to venture a guess that she’s trying to get more uvb. The compact lights just can’t provide the same levels. I use a T5 with Arcadia 14% which currently gives a UVI of 6.0 at about 6.5” below (thru the screen).I have his hammock directly below, so he can choose his own level. (My bulb is due to be replaced in a couple of months)
I’m not sure that a T8 with a 5.0 will be able to provide the uvb levels that she needs. They need much higher than chameleons...like a UVI of 5.0-6.0.So it's a 26 watt thrive uvb bulb compact and a t8 5.0, I think I'll wait to see what happens and if it doesn't get resolved soon, beacause I did just add the compact uvb and turn on the linear beacause it turned off for idk how long, I will talk to an exotic vet who I met yesterday who's teaching me a class about veterinary science and she can probably help me along with you guys, oh and I'll soak her in the 100 degree water
Yeah that's why I have the compact right in the basking spot rn but I will buy the correct one soon when I get the moneyI’m not sure that a T8 with a 5.0 will be able to provide the uvb levels that she needs. They need much higher than chameleons...like a UVI of 5.0-6.0.
The compact isn't doing much beyond 3-4" and the T8 5.0 isn't strong enough. So it's a 26 watt thrive uvb bulb compact and a t8 5.0, I think I'll wait to see what happens and if it doesn't get resolved soon, beacause I did just add the compact uvb and turn on the linear beacause it turned off for idk how long, I will talk to an exotic vet who I met yesterday who's teaching me a class about veterinary science and she can probably help me along with you guys, oh and I'll soak her in the 100 degree water
Ok I will get in that forum and as soon as I can afford it I will get the correct uvb, the good thing is she is about 2-3 inches from the uvb right now so she's getting someThe compact isn't doing much beyond 3-4" and the T8 5.0 isn't strong enough.
Beardies need 10.0 or 12%.
Some good things are:

- You don't need a screen between, cuz beardies can't ceiling walk like chams.
- A T5 10.0 doesn't need to run full width of the enclosure.

In some cases, that can be reduced to 1/2 the width of the enclosure, depending on how it's set up.
I'd encourage you to get on the Beardie forum.
