Ouch! I bet the Quik Stop stung like blazes!

I would make sure all the powder is out of any open wound and dab some OTC Polysporin on the wound. It will prevent infection. If the toe swells, it is infected and you should see a vet.

Holy crap that's a crazy story! Was it the toe or just the nail? How did it happen? I know a lot of reptiles have the ability to cut circulation off to wounds, but I would recommend what others have said and get it checked out.

Just one note: Don't use peroxide to help against infection. It will dry out the area which is bad since your cham needs a lot of moisture and could lead to bad affects as well as killing important healing cells that are at the site of the injury.

Ya, if he just bit off one of his nails, I would keep it clean with peroxide and reptiwound and if you ever get the slightest feeling that he has a possible infection, take him to the vet! But If he truly did bite off one of his toes!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek: then ummm... get him to a vet just incase! Cus thats kind of intene! lol

Did you see him bite it off or is it possible he pulled one off on something like the mesh?

Hope all is alright.
