Black Bump

It could be an abscess. Maybe a cricket bit or he somehow cut himself and it is swelling with pus. I'd have it drained immeditely. If you thin kyou got the steady hands to drain it and then cauterize the wound with a hot knife do it. (Home surgery)
Before this i would take him to a vet immediately

well yeah but i dont know where the camera is or else i would have taken some pictures. figured id just try to discribe it.

And there's summoner with his epic emote.

Good one....

Thanks for my best LOL of the day Summoner12. That's great :) The problem Chameleon24 is that we don't even know the size of the bump, consistency of it, etc. A picture is worth more than any words can really say.

Jesus on a stick Simon, is this really the kind of advice you want to give people?
BAD ADVICE!

Never do 'home surgery' aka butchery, stick with the qualified vet! If you see a vet theres no need to butcher your animal/s at all!

Worst advice Ive seen here yet! Disappointing!

Haha chill on your happy pills. That keyboard's gonna break.
Different culture dude. We fix up ourselves where i come from.
Thinking about it yeah i guess it could be seen as cruelty to perform it on your cham. w/e its all up to the owner.

Indeed this would be cruelty Simon, cruelty is cruelty regardless of cultural diffrences.
Most people here seem to come from North America where vets are generally not hard to find. I would have thought most people here would discourage anyone from performing unqualified surgery on their animal with hot knives or anything else. I cant beleive other posters in this thread said nothing about that comment.
It appears once again Im alone in my POV, nothing new.
I will leave my worn out broken keyboard now and go take some happy pills.

I agree, not only is that terrible advice, but you didn't even mention sterilization etc.... I actually can't believe yous suggested that.
Scrap that advise and see a vet.

I agree, jojackson. I personally would not attempt to do anything like that to my cham. When Lily was ill I was dreading the fact that I may have to try and get meds into her, never mind trying to inject her myself. Luckily the vet injected everything so I didn't have to do anything! For a start there's no way you can keep a cham still long enough to get anywhere near with anything like that, and Lily was as tame as they come!

I think this thread did help alot with my thread. I guess the black bump is a little crickets bite. I let 2 5/8 crickets in her cage and i guess one bit her, but she ate them now. Will it go away by itself or what should i do.
