Black Friday - anyone get anything good?

I don't know too many people who actually went out this year (the winter visitors that have appeared in large quantities have persuaded people to wait this year).

Did anyone get anything good? What was your best deal?

Has anyone checked LLL's Black Friday deals yet? I'm curious to see if there is anything VERY nice, like the mini-fridge incubator.

I have the feeling when I go to WalMart later to pick up a couple gallons of water that there won't be much in the store! Ahh!

Unfortunately I was stuck in bed all morning, and I still am. Took a tumble off the roof yesterday when we were putting the tarp on, tripped over something and stuck the landing on my lower back. Don't worry, the part of the roof I fell off from wasn't as tall as your average roof, but I do have quite the bruise hahaha.

I went to the LLL online sale, got a few sale items and ordered a lot of stuff I needed so I got an "added extra" don't know what but I needed the stuff so I did not care. No way I would be shopping today in a store.

No joke! I believe LLL is shipping extras w/purchases over $50, which should be a reptile magazine or something.

I want to buy stuff today but we're short on cash unless we go into our "accident/vet fund".. ahhhh... Resisting temptation.

Just got a 3' screen cage, another hood, and a reptisun bulb from LLL. That will be the extent of my Black Friday shopping.

I didn't look anywhere else, figured I should get it all at once from the same place.

Home depot has them for like $8 but they aren't specifically made for UVB lights. Eh, I guess it's good if you have the money.

Didn't get anything as exciting as new cages and hoods. Went for the basics, Ca++, moss, vines, cricket food, the necessities.

It's tempting to get a ton of tank decor, but I'm not sure I want to spend the $50 to get the free gift... hehe

I picked up a $100 gift certificate from LLL for $80. That's a free UVB tube, anything helps when you need 20 at a time.

I went on to LLLreptile and bought a few new reptisuns. Used the low price guarantee to my advantage... Pet mountain sells them for cheaper but I got the 5% off. Fo for two it was something close to 30 bucks.

I also picked up a new 5 month old Sambava female from chameleons101, whole sale prices! Mike and Eric are awsome!

I played pokemon all day, instead of studying. I used to work retail, so I tend to hate shopping. Especially this day. But later tonight I will be going out to buy some pizza.

I saw all the ads on tv and at 5 am I was tucked up in bed asleep and warm (can you believe that Old Navy among others opened at 4am??) I am not getting up that early for bargain sheets or anything at Walmart or any other store.

The only thing that would get me up that early is an opportunity to purchase a Parsons!
