black splotch on chin

He might have been really stressed when i moved him into his larger cage, and he did fall once onto some carpet. I hear that black spots on the chin or head just mean bruises and i also hear that they can be fungal infections. But i noticed the area turn black today. Its not big , but should i just let it heal if it is a bruise. A few days? i dont know. Any info would be appreciated.

Can you post some pics? If its fungal or an infection he will need a vet .

OK thus morning I fed him and tongue is functioning as normal. He even gaped at me, I got a good look on the inside and I didn't notice discoloration on the inside. And I also noticed that it was not as black today. More purple. I attached some photos for those the have a better idea. Thanks
