I forgot to add, It eats like crazy moves normally but the black scap on his back worrys me anyone could identify this?

Looks like a bacterial infection. I'd also take him back. possibly get one from a different place? Is it is fungal or bacterial chances are the other ones at that place have it too.

It does look like burn(badly burnt) that is infected. I would take it back unless you want to spend a ridiculous amount of money at the vet's trying to make it better. Take it from me getting a cham back to health is VERY expensive. I rehab and rescue chams and other herps too.

Looks like a really bad shed... where is this cham from?

Edit: I take that back... maybe it is fungal? i've seen that on my WC melleri when i first got them... but it was more clumpy....

Hmmm, actually i cant take him back plus i got it for cheap price 70 dollars, but new symptom appeared now hes not eating :/ ill take him to the vet tmw. but i wanna know is this fungal or bacterial infection fatal?

It depends.

Is it a veiled? 70 is really expensive for a young veiled. 40-50 would be on the higher end of normal price.

You said..."i wanna know is this fungal or bacterial infection fatal?"...there are some fatal things out there...but only the vet can tell you.

where are you located? Perhaps, there is a nearby exotic vet.
Seems like fungal infection of some sort. But, we might never know until a vet can do some sort of biopsy.
Depending on the severity, I am afraid you have no choice but to go to a vet.

I don't think anyone here can tell you this. A vet will need to diagnose it and maybe can't. We just don't know. It might recover well with good care. Some fungal infections glow under a Wood's lamp (medical black light) so that is something to check. A culture from skin samples or a biopsy might help. I haven't seen anything quite like this on a cham before.

This poor thing is obviously in bad shape. The added stress of a new home can result in refusing to eat. Keep it drinking, give a nice sheltered cage, correct lighting, don't overwhelm it with lots of feeder insects, and don't bother it too much so it can settle into its new home. I'd also suggest you tell that store they sold a sick animal. If they care at all. Doesn't matter how much you paid really. Their ignorance about their livestock is terrible.

From looking at this again I doubt its a burn. A burn bad enough to cover so much of the skin would most likely damage its dorsal spines and they look OK. Also, the patchiness and extent of the black spotting includes areas not likely to be burnt under a light. Bacterial or fungal most probably. Both are most likely treatable but would take different meds, so a vet will need to diagnose it.

Cham also looks thin (really skinny legs) and dehydrated too.
