Black Stuff on tip of mouth?

i got this male veiled chameleon about 3 weeks ago and it seems very healthy but this black 'crust' (not sure what it is) appeared and im not sure what it is. do i need to be worried? ive been feeding him crickets and superworms, i mist his cage often and hes very active and tame

My veiled had that for a little bit, i think it was maybe just dirt because it went away.

It’s not uncommon to get a small Superworm bite or hornworm bite around that area. If it is just keep an eye on it to make sure there’s no infection. Hopefully it’s just dirt tho

Mine had the same problem! I have recently bought a Trioceros Ellioti and the male arrived with a spot like that. Another member here posted fotos showing also this very same spot. We think he had a bumpy ride and hit his nose. Observe the spot. If it doesn´t grow, just leave it. It´ll get better probably.
