Hello everyone!

I have a veiled cham, male, 7 months old, who was in a very terrible husbandry situation: temp 15°C, no uvb light or heat source, no water acces, no suplements...

He had no grip strenght, sunken eyes, but apetite.

Now i have him in room temperature 31°C, 70% humidity, has a water fountain, and ubv light. His grip has got better and eyes are returning to normal but he wont open them, so he cant eat, ive been giving him flukers repta boost for the past 2 days. And he just roams around blind all day, and keeps hitting himself with everything.

In my country there is not a vet for any reptile, so that is not an option. I am a vet student and have been giving him also intraperitoneal fluids, pain meds, suplements and antiinflamatory meds, but it would be great if you could provide me with more advice, so maybe i can save him.

*Sorry for my spelling, english is not my first language.
Your girl is looking up at the ceiling with could be a URI or upper respiratory disease, does she make pops or gasp for air or wheez when she breathes

Its a male. And he used to but i treated that and he stopped doing it. Now his eyes are closed so he is basically blind, and cant eat by himself

Ok you don't need a laying bin, good that he stopped but once you use the vitamins I sent it will most likely really help his eyes since it has vitamin a and crickets, mealworms aren't to good I stick to dubias and on the occasion bsfl, and horn worms, I'd say get your guy some horn worms because it'll help with hydration at the moment

Right now he is not eating insects, he is eating liquid food, because i was force feeding him the insects and he was spitting them out. I dont know if i should blend the insects with the liquid food? Or the liquid food its alright? (See picture) He stopped eating insects when he closed his eyes, about 3 days ago.

Maybe just blend roaches with the vitamins and a tiny little bit of water then feed it like that.

Thank you very very much, this is very very helpful.

I have to buy thermoters and higrometers, the temperatures and humidity i am telling is the average in my house, so yes probably is a lot different in the cage.

I will get rid of the fountain, (i hate it because makes everything wet, so perfect!!! hahaha) Right now he cant see so i force feed him the water.

Is the repta boost food good for now? Or should i add something else to the mixture? That is what i am feeding him right now.

I dont know if i should put a lot of branches right now because he cant see a thing and he is bumping against everything and i am scared he will injure his eyes, so thats why i made that "parachute" using a blanket, he climbs that easily and its softer so he cant hurt himself
I cant order long light bulbs, because they will break (mail system here is horrible i know), but could i use a couple small lights placed beside each other? Because when i order small light bulbs they arrive fine
Unfortunately the UVB screw in bulb you use isn’t the correct one. Using a linear t5 ho good and linear bulb works best. Can the pet store you work at order some by chance? Ordering the hood and light combo works for now but in 6 months you’ll need to replace the linear bulb so we will need to figure out a solution for that.

At the store we have these (see pictures) could any of them work?
Well darn you have some of what you have but not all. Let’s keep it simple:

Use the Repashy LoD but only use it on the 1st and 15th of every month (black bottle). Then if you can get the Rep Cal WITHOUT D3, you would use that on all other feedings.

I can order things, but it will take 2 or 3 weeks to arrive, i would like to try to fix as much as i can now so he wont get worse
