I feed them to my baby, but I got my horns as soon as they hatched. How old is your lil dude? Typically horns grow really fast. How big are the horns? If they are almost as big as him, I would say he's probably scared, but if not maybe he just doesn't like them (chams are picky)

You generally want to to get them small and then let them grow to the size you need. Once mine get to 2/3 the size I want, I then start putting them in the regrigerator for a day in and a day out to slow their growth. This will get more time out of them. They do grow incredibly fast but are a great feeder that my chams love. They also keep my Jackson's hydrated.

This happens to me when I get my horn worms within a few days these things are double the size I got them. The shop I got them from said put the in the refrigerator and they won't go so fast. It's worked for me so far.

That can take a while to warm up to different feeders, but it's vital that they do. If they become dependent on one feeder it will be hard for them to go to others, and could possibly cause an imbalance in them. Just take it slow, make it move, try to use a clear plastic top (seems to make a difference to mine), and keep at it.
