yes, i have a laying bin in her cage ready for her to lay her eggs in. thank you for the info and concern!! i'm not sure about her age but my guess would be 6-7 months old

i'm worried that mine isn't big enough. i would say it's about 7-9 inches deep and 5 inches by 5 inches filled with moist eco earth. my female veiled has been very very restless and going to the bottom of the cage frequently

thank you all for the great information and support. as you can probably tell i have never dealt with this sort of thing before

also, i have not had her mate and i don't plan on it, but is it still possible for the eggs to be fertile?

No, that isn't big enough. I have no experience with chameleons that dig deep holes (mine lay in bins about 6" deep) but that size--5" x 5"--doesn't give her any room to choose where to dig. They need a lot more surface area than that. Think about it--the animal is bigger than 5"--where is she going to be as she moves all that dirt out of the hole? My chameleons' holes are about that size and they don't dig straight down, either.

It you get into trouble, a trash can will work.

her stomach has gotten large and i can see the eggs. i am getting very concerned and i can't get her any surgery.

as a side note i am using eco earth and it is very moist with a little plant in it too. it is a good size and i am worried about her because her stomach is getting big
