If you are currently feeding or interested in feeding your feeder insects Bok Choy and would like to grow it so you have it for free after the first purchase, here’s a great tip. Buy an organic Bok Choy, chop the top half off for your insects, then take the bottom half and gently peel/break off a couple of layers, then place it in a small bowl or whatnot with just enough water to cover the base part that the other leaves were broken off of. It’ll start growing the very next day. Literally. Once roots have established themselves, transplant it into soil in a pot or your garden and now you have free organic Bok Choy.

You can grow multiple sweet potatoes from just one. If you take one, once the eyes/roots have started to form, chop it into large pieces, so it has at least 2 roots/eyes. Let it sit out and dry for about an hour or 2. Then put it in soil about 3 inches down with the roots facing upwards in a container or garden. They grow vertically, so you’ll need space for them to grow up. Once stems appear out of the soil, add more soil to the stems leaving the greens at top uncovered. There are actually quite a few kitchen scraps you can regrow very easily. Not all are for insects though.

Bok Choy after 5 days of growing! It’s super fast! No more spending money on this particular veggie. Which is awesome!!
