that is a pic of the back foot of my baby (3-4 month veiled). i don't know what i'm supposed to be looking for when determining the gender of my cham. If anyone could help it would be very helpful in determining a final name lol.

it looks like a female. to sex veileds, males have a bump (known as a tarsal spur) on the back of each back foot. females have no bump.

Not a very clear picture but your cham looks like a female to me. Females can and often do lay eggs without a male even being around. Below is a link to my blog on egg laying and the laying bin. At 5 month old she will need to be provided with a laying bin.
