picture would help alot, you can tell if its a male if there are little spurs on the back legs. it will kind of look like a third toe, but alot smaller

I believe that it's only male veileds that have the spur.
This is what our female nosy looked like around that age:

ahahah Panther chams dont have a spur at all , only veild chameleons have the spur to tell if they are male , only way to tell is when they are around the 2.5 to 3 month age , or you get the odd early bloomer wit the hemi penal bulge at the base of there tail , males have a more distinctive white line across there back side and there colours are more vibrant then females , females go a peachy baige orange colour , and like you have explanied shes a peachy orange colour so you deff have yourself a female

his "boy bulge" will be quite obvious at 5 months! If you can't see it then it's a girl ;)

Check out his Cy's pics here Cyrus
even in his early pics you can begin to see it as early as 3 month (pics in march '06 he was born Dec. '05). he also had blue on his cheeks almost out of the egg, but I think that is not typical.

Can you post a pic? Include his vent.

Sorry, I have a bunch of photos in there, didn't mean for you to go thru all of them! Go to page 3 in the album and look at the "boy?" pics. He was not even 3 months old. I was wondering if he was a boy (his "mom" said he was but I was not sure) but in hindsight I can see his little boy bulge :p

Just from what you describe, when a Panther looks pink/peach/orange/brown color, it's 99.9% female.
In my experience, although the coloration of the female isn't quite as vibrant as the male, the females have a way better temperment then the males. They are real sweethearts to work with.

yah im almost positive that shes a girl. No blues at all and she is like 5 months old soo thanks guys.. anyone know around what time they can start breeding??
