I continue to have the time of my life with my Jacksons and Panthers. I've got two young male Jacksons. I'm not sure about their age, but they're about 6 inches long (total). Both are extremely friendly and eagerly climb out the cage door when I open it. The enjoy eating crickets from my fingers and riding on my shoulder. When they climb out the door, they both do a little exploring.....that's what happened tonight. Their cages are separated by an empty cage. I was doing a little cage cleaning so I let them stretch their legs.....UNTIL THEY SAW EACH OTHER!. I looked up and they were both blazing color, standing tall, facing each other about 18 inches apart. They were both jerking their heads to issue the challenge. But neither one advanced to the other. It was really cute as they "strutted their stuff". Sort of like junior high boys challenging each other, but both were afraid to make the first move.....
That's why I LOVE my chameleons.
