Breeding by accident-- My Bad

Everyone one tells you not to turn your back on your chams outside, I never do. But yesterday I was misting and talking to my new male veiled, looked outside to see who pulled up, looked back in the cage to see the meanest female veiled I have ever known in his cage. She has managed to get her cage open 3 times lately. But I had not known she was out until she darted into his cage. I tried to get her out and she started hissing and lunging at me, so I went to get a pair of gloves. Postman rang the doorbell with a package, I answered, forgot about the veiled problem for 10 or 15 minutes. When I went back in to get her (wearing gloves) he had her flat out on the bottom of the cage. Even I felt sorry for her so I removed her, but it is was too late she is showing gravid colors. She is 15 months old so I guess it is ok I just hadn't really planned for it. hope I don't get babies with her lovely personality.

yeah lonely and HORNEY lol she sounds funn :) wish my female panther acted like that i would be rich lol ill take some babies from you when they hatch lol :)

Laurie,

as someone has already said...it seems it was ment to be.
maybe she will calm down now that she had a little fun with her boyfriend. :p

good luck with her.

The eggs would probably have come anyway, so just dont incubate them. Puncture them and throw them away...

They are veileds, not panthers. I now have only 2 male panthers and no females, if they breed I will give up!

I don't really mind more veiled babies, they are a lot of fun to watch. Now we will hope for a small clutch.

OOOH! I hope she dosent call him at home. Might be a bunny boiler type aka 'fatal attraction'! (he'll discover a decapitated cricket head on his perch if he tries to dump her) LOL :D

First Nympho Cham I ever heard about :)

That's my luck, she is a complete witch and a nympo to boot!! I sure know how to pick them don't I? I am going to warn the male about her. He has only been here a week doesn't even have a name and she attacks him, wonder what he thinks of his new home.

lmao. oh yea, feel so bad for you. lol. You know some of us bust our butts for babies! jeez! lol, yay, babies tho!:D
