breeding crickets

I have been breeding crickets for my son's gecko for a few months and have been having pretty good success with some setbacks here and there. I was wondering how big crickets have to be before they start to mate and lay eggs?

Cricket Sex

Typically in week5-6, but lower temps slow the process, higher temps speed it up. A better measure is the females have a long egg laying spike which must be developed before laying can begin.
