Modkrew- IMHO it is a matter of ethics. Would I ever breed any chameleon from the same bloodline? NO! NEVER! Could the offspring have genetic defects? possibly. Is it worth taking the chance? in my opinion, no. Veileds are very easy to come by, I would by another from another line if you are that set on breeding. I will also say, when it came to selling the offspring, IMHO it is your obligation to let buyers be aware that they were produced this way. There is already enough deceitfulness and drama in this business to leave that crucial bit of info out to your prospective buyers.
I can't believe we just had this conversation. Mod, please don't do it. Not for the sake of the hobby, not because there "might" be visible defects, but because you just don't breed chameleons that are brother and sister.
