Yes, it is possible to breed different locales together. I would suggest you read up and research breeding before doing it. Not only the cost but also what all you need as far as food, enclosures, and other supplies once these little guys hatch. Do your research!

thank you so much for the advise i will do my research before proceeding with anything thank u for your help:)

any locales can be bred with eachother, but people try to refrain from doing it as it only puts more hybrids on the market, which means "less" pure locales.

I like Nosy be x Ambanja crosses. I also like Nosy be x Ambilobe. However, I much rather prefer Nosy be x Nosy be because I like pure locales better. Also, if your female has 20 or 30 eggs you will have to care for and feed them. Then you will need to try finding homes for them all. The other thing to consider is that many people want pure locales and not crosses.

i have a female veiled and i am wondering if i can cross her with a different kind of cham or can they only breed with male veileds?

Veileds can only breed with veileds (and maybe one other species that is very closely related but the name escapes my mind, but I wouldn't.) so you can't breed a panther or a carpet (or whatever) with her.

Thank you for getting back to me. I found a site showing a chameleon family tree.It seems like there is different chameleons that are more closely related than the common panthers etc. Yet i do not know which ones can successfully reproduce.

Just send a pm to julirs and purchase a female nosy be. Problem solved. A lot easier to sell if you don't mix up the bloodlines.:D
