I have two mature veiled chameleons that I would like to try breeding. I placed her in his cage and she just walk away with no worries. The male turned extremely bright and went after her. He was trying to attach as she walked away and then he started to bite at her. I took her out because I was not sure. I was worried about her getting hurt. Is that normal? I know the females will try to bite, hiss, etc when she is not wanting to breed but what about the male. Is he suppose to bite?
