Broken fogger

So i got a Zoomed fogger about two months ago and it stopped pumping out fog. i opened it and turned it on and fog was made but its not going up the tube anymore, i can easily take apart to fix it but im not sure what the problem is. Any insight?

What kind of water do you put in it? Mine stopped working and I scrubbed the plate at the bottom with a toothbrush to get rid of builtup stuff.

warm/soft water, i also cleaned it out, warm water doesnt cause the build up

the fan inside has stopped working. the fan pushes the fog through the tube. some times if you smack the back or the side it will start working again. if it starts making a grinding sound, its the fan trying to spin. there not that good, ive gone through 2 of them. i hope this helps.

It deffinately is the fan after further investigation. thanks
