Just notice this on his tail get dramatically worse today.. I dont have a reptile vet specialist near me. As much help as possible would be much appreciated.
This chameleon has an infection that progressed further than just something topical at this point. I highly doubt any neosporin or polysporin is going to do the trick. They are more of a preventative on a fresh to semi fresh wound to help keep debris or bacteria to settle in. This wound is past that point. The area is raised with skin discoloration. I would recommend a vet visit. Till then i would clean the wound manually, submerge/soak the wound in a provodone iodine/water solution till you take the chameleon in.
