I was looking through the species list on another site and these guys look really cool. Are they available in the pet trade, are they hard to breed. They look like a fun project. Thanks for your time

Chris Anderson might know something about that species. Good luck finding them and if you do let me know, I am interested in them also. I have yet to see them available in the pet trade though.

B. perarmata are now on CITES appendix I and as such no international trade is allowed. There were a few specimens in US collections up until a few years ago but I believe those are long gone. You won't be finding any in the near future.

I would love to give them a try, but even if I did somehow find an available pair, I would definately feel more comfortable leaving such a rare species to the "experts" who have a much better shot at success.
