yes, your temps are too high. Most people bask the young or baby veilds around 82-85 max degrees and the overall cage temp should be in he low to mid 70's. I would try lowerin the temps by changing out the basking bulb to a lower wattage and see if that does not help with the opening of the mouth. Also do not feed your chameleon so late in the day as you want him to be able to bask and digest his food. Feeding him late in the evening or right before bed time, does not give him a chance to do so. Also, would add some type of dark leafy green to your gutload such as collard, mustard greens or kale. Everything else seems ok with your set up.

Just pretty much what we have already discussed, everything else is fine, he will love the bigger viv and I remember you saying you feed him lettuce, lettuce isn't to good especially iceberg lettuce, as carol said dark leafy greens are the best bet there also abit of carot an such but it may be work searching for Sandrachameleon, she has really helpful blogs on the best gut loading ingredients wet and dry and the heat will be a lot easyier to control once you have him in a new viv in can be a little bit of a pain with the glass enclosures an just try a 40w household bulb, I use 25w but have a lot of vivs so I would of thought a 40w would work well

Hi! When you say he's 2, do you mean 2 months or 2 years old? It's all very dependant on thatas the care at those ages are quite different :)

i thought 2 months as you were asking for advice on how to care for, but I see you only have had for one week. The basking could be a little higher then, but 95 is still hot and like I said your overall cage temp is still a little too warm
