Is it safe to use ant and bug spray near my jacksons chameleon, because there is a bit of ants and I was wondering if it was safe

I wouldn’t. I use bait and traps for pest control around my chameleons. If they are the tiny ‘sugar’ ants, Terro drops work great.

Depending on your set up I would look into a natural bio solution. I don't know your set up ( more details would be useful) when I had a greenfly problem with my chilli plants. Ants protected the greenfly to feed of them so I introduced ladybirds I don't know if this in any use in a cham enclosure.

No. You will need a home made solution if some sort, ot something natural. you cannot use any type of chemicals with chameleons, I wouldnt take the chance of their health.

I do this as well.
Ants sometimes show up near my cages otherwise.
I would not use spray.

Don't use poison. put double sided tape around the base where the ants are coming in. This will stop them. They leave a chemicals trail, this causes them to abandon the source as the send back a message that the food is no longer accessible. I learned this trick when I had sugar gliders.
