Bugs Again

I posted a thread a couple of months ago about having millepedes in my plant. I did remove the plant at that time and removed all the soil that was attached to the roots and started over. This time I did less soil, then 2 - 3 inches of sand and 1 inch of stones.
I was cleaning the cage today and I see some bugs again. What am I doing wrong to keep getting bugs in the plants.

It's probably not your fault. A few likely hid really well or some eggs got left behind and they grew from that. I wouldn't personally worry too much about a couple of millipedes.
