Bulges on cham's face

Hey everyone I came across this chameleon that needs to be rehomed, I'm not sure if it's worth trying or not. He's a 2yo male veiled, the current owner can't take care of him anymore. Any thoughts? Anyone experienced this before?

I’ve never seen masses like that on a chameleon? Do you know the care he’s currently receiving? He looks somewhat healthy besides the obvious.

Poor guy, completely lost his eye due the lack of care for him. Hopefully it´s no bad abscess, which already has founds its way inside his head. Still if you can afford him and are willing to get him, at least he gets his deserved good life, for as long as that will be 🍀

If it was me in the situation I would snatch him up in a heartbeat. I think he’s definitely got a chance. Probabaly has some MBD issues along with the abscesses, maybe a few other problems. Besides that, he looks relatively okay. He looks alert, which would give me the impression if that he needed anything done like surgery he could fight through it. I’d give him a chance.

Do you have the $2,000-5,000+ needed for a proper cage set-up and biopsy and surgery and God knows what else he'll need to get done at the vet (he has visible MBD in the casque and something wrong with the right side of his mouth, he could have parasites and incorrect vitamin levels, as well, along with maybe something else, he doesn't look physically healthy)? And will you be okay if he passes away during surgery or anything?

There’s also a chameleon rescue you can take him to in Woodland Hills called CamEO
