Bumps on Veilds ribs and bloated belly

I'm taking him back to the store tomorrow.I feel really bad, because I really love having him. But I am in college and I literally don't have the time or money to heel two sick animals. I can afford to deal with the first and def make time...but sheesh. Things went down hill so fast. Any recommendations for cleaning solutions? Or pretty much toss what's in his cage?

I commend you for this, so don't feel bad. I like that you are being realistic and you know that you don't have the resources to care for the animal properly. Also, the blame does not fall on you for buying another chameleon as was mentioned above. No one expects to buy a chameleon that is ill and is already in need of veterinary care. A healthy animal is not expensive. If he had been in your care for months and this was something that had been an outcome of your husbandry, that would be different. But, the blame lies with the seller. Most people don't have the eye to recognize early stages of MBD or most illnesses for that matter. But, the seller should be able to recognize a decline. If they can't recognize an issue within the animal, they really have no business selling them in the first place.

I am glad you are taking him back and I am impressed that you are being realistic about the whole situation.
