Buying Roaches!

I was just wonder where everyone gets their roaches from?
I just got some more from Blaberus.com
He is getting some kind of green roach from germany soon.
I think it was a "bannana roach" something like that.
He said it was the holy grail of roaches for chameleons.
I also asked him to be a site sponsor, and was very interested.:D
Sent Brad a PM on that!

ive heard of the green ones befor, but only by word or mouth. i dont and can not get roaches because my mom doesnt like them but if i did i would get them from mr maximus on here because he lives like 10 mins away. maybe i can trick my mom into thinking that these green roaches are just beetles.

are their any roaches that dont look like roaches? i dont think so.

i saw the image from google search..
they're quite beautiful
I can't believe i'm saying these words to roaches..

now... if they can't climb plastic, can't fly, clean and multiply like Dubia..
i'm sold!

No, I bought dubia from him.
I just cant seem to have enough.
Supers stink something fierce, and when they are all gone thats it for me.

The Cuban Banana Roach (Panchlora nivea)
Awesome feeder ... pretty small and they can climb and fly (really well).
Have to keep them in a very humid enclosure with peat or some similar substrate.
The babies are tiny and black.

Green Banana roach Panchlora nivea
Where found: Cuba, Fl and TX: US, Mexico

The Green banana roach is a very beautiful roach, unfortunately even a large female barely hits 24mm (just under an inch)and the males are even smaller at 12-15mm (half an inch). This is another ovoviparous species and out of the bright green adults are born tiny brown nymphs. The nymphs are burrowers and do not climb, on the other hand, the adults love to climb. If there is a crack, they will find it. Also, when you open the container, watch out! The Green banana roaches are great little flyers. Due to its lack of weight P.nivea is less easily controlled by petroleum jelly barriers than other Blattodea.

I think I'll pass on this one...LOL

I found them much easier to control than you would think.
They like to be down in the substrate (even the adults) I never had any fly out of the container when I opened it.
I did find them difficult to feed if the chameleon did not "zap" them right away.
They won't stay in a feeder cup and they are good hiders.
