buying

Honestly, if you are after the lowest price you should get yourself a rubber chameleon from Wallmart! Sorry I could not resist! In this life, cheap is just it, cheap! My most amazing chameleon also cost me the most! A lot of time and money goes in to breeding and raising healthy, amazing chameleons. If the breeder cuts corners to save cost the growing chameleon suffers for it! Please do not be in a hurry, do your research and be completely ready to bring your baby home!

Best of luck
Matt

Also remember that the chameleon is not going to be your biggest expense. The cage, lighting, water delivery, plants, feeders (and all that goes into raising them) will take a lot more. Also, you need to have a reserve for vet care. Most vets will not be able to deal with common cham health problems so you'll need to find out where your nearest herp specialist will be and what they charge.

This. ^
After I bought my chameleon the equipment cost easily outweighed my cham. And I bought a nice healthy one from an extremely reputable breeder.
This isn't a cheap hobby to say the least. But most things aren't that are worth it. I have 0 regrets dropping the coin I did on any of it. Buy once, cry once.

What about the shipping and egg laying do you have an egg laying bin

I do have an egg laying bin. Ive introduced it to her, she's explored it but never dug a hole. I gave her sample holes; she lost interest. I did research about this one gentleman who prevents his chameleons from producing clutches and ive mimicked how he feeds and so far she hasn't even shown signs of having eggs, but i keep a close eye on her, id never want her to get egg bound.. But what about shipping?

I totally want a rubber chameleon now too though. I want like a typical "rubber chicken" you know the clichéd comedy prop thingy, only a chameleon. If that isn't a thing it should be. I love chameleon merchandise of any kind though.

oh that I cannot say...
not to informed about shipping of live animals but i can look into it
