cage size?

Killer Chams

would 24x24x36 be to small for an adult male panther. i currently use 24x24x48. i have shelving that allows me to stack 36in cages, so i was just wondering

As stated by many before me, "bigger is better". The size for an adult male should be taller to allow for more movement. I think 36" would be O.K. if the enclosure was wider than 24", but I would still not do this unless the enclosure was pretty high up. (Since you say stacking, it could work though...Maybe a custom enclosure?) ;)

I thought about stacking, but the challenge of drainage stopped me from pursuing it, along with the problem that the bottom row will be so close to the ground, most likely causing stress for the chams kept in the bottom row.

I think an adult male panther needs that extra foot of space. Switching to the small cage would reduce his space by 33%

Has anyone stacked there cages??

Hey! :) Im on a mission and am wondering if anyone has stacked there cages before?? I am thinking of using a 5 tire metal shelving with lllreptile style drainage systems on top and bottom rack. Lifting the bottom cages as high as possible so it wouldnt be so close to the floor. Bottom cage would be 2 repti breeze 18x18x36 and top would be 2 16x16x30. I really have to make this happen because I have 4 cages and only space for 3 (going long). So the 4th cage right now is in a uncomfortable space for both me and the cham... So Im going up! These are my plans so far... Any experience with this or opinions/inputs would be great! :) thanks!
