Cage Smell

So every week I do all cage clean up and during the week every day I clean up poop urate 3tx. well...I was feeding Kaleo today and smelled really gross..his cage normally smells like lizard which is nothing lol but iono what I smelled was it poop I didn't see? Sometimes its in his plant.

Does he poop in his plant and you don't see it? You might wanna check that out. I clean out poop every time I see it.

You might want to check the saucer in the bottom of the plant. My guy uses his pothos for just about everything. He goes down there to shed (I find LOTS of that), occasionally he craps in there.

It might be the soil in your plant, not the poop. If the soil gets too saturated and is not draining properly your plant can get root rot which will smell terrible. If it is indeed the poop that is smelling, then you might want to have your chameleon checked for parasites. Normally a chameleon's poop will have very little odor if any.
