Cage Stand?

So the space I have exactly fit the 24x24x48 cage that i just bought.... I'm going to do the hole in the center with the sink drain inserted (thanx tru for the idea) But now I dont know what the heck to set the cage on and how to do it. My ceiling isnt too high so I cant get a dresser or anything. But where in the world do I get a square stand? It doesnt matter if the sides and stuff hang out right, if I dont get a 24x24 base.

i used to use a old tv stand, and it being old i drilled a hole in the center
without having to deal with ruining it.

now i have a stand that is plastic. its called ryno racks or something.
it is quite big tho, 3' x 2' x (up to)6' but i only have it about 2.5' up.
it has 5 shelves that you can use to make different heights or whatever
and with me only using two shelves i got 3 more leftover so i still have
enough for another cage.

if you go to home depot or menards they have them there, they also have 24''
x 24'' metal racks. you just have to shop around, it might cost you like $20-50

Maybe it's just me, but would it really be so hard to build a simple stand out of wood? hammer, nails, wood, handsaw maybe done.

We use a couple of old microwave stands we still had knocking around in the garage. You might be able to find one at a garage sale.

Garage sale or some cheap end tables from the goodwill will work. You can drill a hole in one and run a rubber hose to a catch tray in a drawer...nice and clean looking. I use end table...2 cuz my cage is Ginourmous.

No it wouldn't. But I would like to know what other people have...

After not being able to find a decent tv stand or end table on craigslist or at garage sales I went to Ikea. They have a "build your own table" thing where you pick out the top and the legs, then screw them together at home. The basic 29" square top and four, $5 metal legs were about $40, work great, and don't look too bad.

If you want to spend $$ you could buy one of those small sinks for laundry rooms. I think they are about $50. I have seen some that are perfect size for 24"x24"x48" They already have the drainage hole and everything!

I know thats the Idea i like most... But I think it may be too bulky and too costly. but we'll see thanx!
