Calcium, How Much Is Too Much?
Should Liquid Calcium be given on a daily basis for a recovering Case of MBD?
Will His tremors ever stop?

I would consult a vet regarding use of any calcium product for treatment of MBD especially liquids. In regards to the tremors, I know in iguanids they can have residual neurological problems as a result of MBD. They may also have coordination problems from both a neuro and anatomical basis. The joints and bones tend to develop a lot of fibrotic tissue in response to bone loss and that Can change how the joint functions.

Good luck.

Thx for the fast reply!
He visited our vet 2 weeks ago, and i was given liquid calcium on a drop per week basis. Seems like a rather small dose? His grip is very very strong, eats everyday( well gutloaded crickets 10 -12 dusted with calcium no d3), but has tremors while he walks :(

Hi Diggs, here is veterinarian/cham owner Ferretinmyshoes writeup about MBD and how to treat it:

Ideally, a vet would be supervising the treatment but your vet really has to be very familiar with reptile medicine.
You don't mean the typical shaky leaf walk that chams do, do you?
Hope this helps you out.

Hey lovereps,
Unfortunately not the typical leaf walk :( almost tremors, shaky limbs). I almost think that my vet may have made a typo on the frequency of the medication (liquid Calcium). My vet said one drop of liquid calcium per week. But i think once or twice daily for one month may be more sufficient. Then continue once weekly for long term. But i also do not want to dose too much calcium

Hi, at the moment giving your chameleon calcium in a sensible fashion everyday should not cause any harm. If you are administering an obscene amount multiple times throughout the day every day for a period of time, you may then have issues but as of now giving him a dose daily will not hurt him.

The tremors do usually go away. It does take some time though. Depending on the severity of the situation, it will usually take months.
