No. Your uvb light or the sun(if you take your chameleon outside) enables your chameleon to get d3. You do not want to give too much d3 artificially, as with any vitamin. Most people just use the plain calcium daily. The one with d3 can be used a few times a month.
The most accepted supplement schedule for the average keeper with panthers and veileds use
Pure calcium everyday
Calcium with D3 twice a month
A multivitamin with no D3 twice a month also.
