Calcium w/D3 & Reptivite

Juvie male Veiled probably 5-6 months old. I've had him two weeks and dusted with above mentioned Ca w/ D3 and Reptivite. Can or should I combine the two supplements? How do I know I'm using enough supplement. I dusted 8-9 crickets and plan on dusting some dubia roaches a bit later today.

Do not dust with D3 more than twice a month; too much can be toxic. You can dust with calcium w/out d3 as often as daily without any ill effects, but for a subadult male 2-3 times a week is probably sufficient.

I recommend you gutload your feeder insects with carrots and leafy greens like kale, collard/mustard greens, and romaine lettuce (no iceberg lettuce). You can sprinkle calcium on the vegetables so the insects ingest the calcium-

I gut load with mustard greens, collard greens and carrot. My feeders (crickets, dubias and superworms) get bug burger carrots and either mustard greens or collard greens.

NO nutritional value. Spend $.06 more and get organic romaine lettuce, if you must use lettuce. I use the 'spring mix salad' and everything eats it. Alternate, with whatever you have fresh and available.

No goodness in it, ie vitamins. It's mostly made up of water.
