California Fire Season

It's here fellow Californians, fire season. Get your plan together and dont get caught off guard. If you need help in advance dont hesitate to ask before its too late. Im 4hrs from the northern part of the state and 4 hrs to Bakersfield. 2 trucks and tow hitch. Foothills are even closer. Get ready.

Guess Im lucky I only have to watch out for tourists that think they can park on my lawn while they go to the beach... Its funny watching them come back looking for their cars that I had towed away.

Its unfortunate. One of the most taxed states and we watch it burn every year. Oh yeah dont forget the blackouts when it gets really hot. If you want to know who runs your state, look no farther that your local power company. Hit them with lawsuits and they file for bankruptcy, then turn off your power when you need it most.

Very, very sad! Welcome to the newest third world country! I thaught I would escape that kind of stupidity and monopoly driven detriment by moving to the USA! Apparently not! In South Africa, once the power goes down thieves steal the copper wire, melt it down and sell the copper! Copper is worth quite a bit! (Oops, hope I didn't just give the wrong people ideas!)

Very, very sad! Welcome to the newest third world country! I thaught I would escape that kind of stupidity and monopoly driven detriment by moving to the USA! Apparently not! In South Africa, once the power goes down thieves steal the copper wire, melt it down and sell the copper! Copper is worth quite a bit! (Oops, hope I didn't just give the wrong people ideas!)

They already do that just not that quite like that. They squat in your house, claim rights to it and strip the wire out before they get arrested. Recycling centers here take your picture with your stuff just incase you stole it.

California is run on greed unfortunately (being nice without throwing in politics), can't wait to move, but be safe out here in California, luckily I live in the desert and the only thing a fire can burn is sand maybe?

I asked where he parked it and he pointed to the tire marks on the lawn. I asked him to read the street sign that said "residential parking only" (township sign) and then pointed to my sign on the lawn with my buddies towing company phone number. He was not happy.

Definitely one of the down sides to living in a NJ shore town with the beach 2 blocks away...

So happy I am on the wet coast of Eureka in Cali... Very little fire danger here. I hated living in North Carolina and getting blasted by hurricanes.
Dealt with Tornadoes in Alabama. Then got to experience being evacuated in Northern AZ due to a fire. That was awful.

I asked where he parked it and he pointed to the tire marks on the lawn. Public schools are failing to teach reading and awareness two important things. Be aware of towing signs and dont be a jerk kids!! Your buddy's living depends on stupid. I bet he is doing well!!

No major fires here just all the smoke from them and smog from the environmentally conscious bay area.

Keep your fires away from my beautiful Colorado! We have been blessed with lots of moisture this winter and Spring so hopefully no fire bans like we had last year. The mountains are pretty and green this year not brown and dull. California is a Clusterfuk of a state if you ask me. Talk about a socialist state! I prefer our emissions laws, gun laws, taxes, and state fees compared to Californias any day. I like loud aftermarket exhausts and guns too much to live there personally.
