Call me paranoid but...

Okay. He's my first cham. It's his first shed (with me). As far as I know he's about 8months old. Just would like your guys' opinion on whether or not this looks normal/healthy/whatever. I heard spraying sometimes helps them, but he hates it when I spray him directly, so I've just been making sure his humidity is amped up as much as possible, and he gets some hornworms today (not sure if that even helps at all, but its a treat!)! Any tips/warnings etc around shedding is appreciated! Thanks!!

He's fine. Misting is good. From what I've seen it may or may not speed it up. It doesn't matter anyway. It can take a couple of days. Feet are tricky and always last. Might look a bit like bandages when its coming off.

Beautiful boy Doesn't look not normal at all.

Keep the hornworms a treat or he will shun the crickets!

You're paranoid.

But, :p

All looks normal. If the humidity is up, like they said above, all should go well. If they have it on for more than a week, there are some sprays on the market meant to help shedding. I personally can't stand the musky smell they leave behind on EVERYTHING but that's just me.

He looks a picture of health, my little guy used to HATE getting sprayed, but then I started using hot water, which cools down to warm when it comes out of the sprayer, so he's a lot more relaxed when I do it now. Don't be too surprised if he doesn't eat when he's shedding, it's a common side effect as I understand it's a rather uncomfortable process, he may take a little something to eat, but it might not be his regular intake if he takes anything at all.
