Calumma Parsonii Development

Hey Guys,
just wanted to share some pictures of my C.Parsonii.
I got him with about 3 months of age and and had to find out he´s most probably an illegal WC.
When he arrived, he was very small and dehydrated an most people told me there would be only little hope for him to survive.
I have had a lot of trouble with this little guy, especially when it comes to food and hydration, however, i have had the luck to get help from the only proven parson breeder in europe right now and another man named Tim who is kind of his student and knows a looot about this species.
Without that help i don´t think that he would have made to the point he´s at now.
He´s now 8-9 months old, has shed 3 times and grown a lot.
He eats and drinks very well now, so i even left him alone for a week.
My family members, who have collected some experience with him before, took care of him and everything went well.
But enough talking, here some pictures of him in different ages, beginning with about 3 months and ending with some pictures from today:

Thanks a lot :)
I just wanted to tell anybody around reading this not to buy any parson offered as CB unless they know the breeder in person and have seen the parents, as well as the necessary equippment and pictures of the eggs and freshly hatched chams. Also you need to have a lot of knowledge about the species so you can make sure the breeder is qualified to be such and not only telling you some bullshit in order to earn money.
Here another picture of him at his first day at my home which shows quite good how small he was back then.

Gorgeous parson you have. I keep waiting for someone stateside to have actual cb offspring avail. Thats the only way I'd even attempt to keep one. Ive heard they are actually quite hardy if you have your husbandry down. At what age are they past the really fragile stage? I know with pardalis and some other species its at around 3-4 months. But those species mature quicker than parsons does.

Real CBs are actually really rare :(
I´d say the really critaical time is over at an age of about 12 months+.
Until this time they should drink as much as possible every day.
You need to give them water youself to be sure they really drink.
Even if they won´t die from not drinking 1-2 days, the impact this can have is nut to be underestimated, same goes for the temperature which is in close relationship to hydration.
I had temperatures of about 28°C when i should have acutually had 25-26°C only for a few days and he already stopped drinking and began to sleep during the daytime.
However, when they get older they become more tolerant, even if it´s just a little bit.
