Thought I'd share a few pictures from this evening.

Camille was enjoying her evening in her Hibiscus tree.

Thank you! I want to add another plant for more leaves for the babies to drink from. Yes, it's tacks. They work quite well.

Thanks i was wondering how u guys got them to stay up there like that... im builing my set up right now

Jann can you help me out. Where did you get those tacks? I have been looking everywhere for a long time now for them? Lowes? HD?

Lovely cage and pics. Thanks for sharing

Jann,
thanks for posting the pics of the cage, babies too, of course!!
it's always helpful for us newbies to actually see the appropriate set up.. makes it easier for us to assemble ours!!! :D

i love the branch work looks quite stable...

do you think crepe myrtle branches will be ok to use, after cleaning and baking of course? i mainly want to be sure that they are not toxic...

Stefan asked about the thumb tacks,, are they different that other thumb tacks? they just look like regular old generic ones to me... :)

thanks a bunch,,, lisa

Hi Jann -

Neat setup and, of course, gorgeous babies!! Thanks for the pics of the setup as it has given me some great ideas. Do you bake your branches? If so, how long and at what temp? I've seen different ideas out there, but wanted to get your take on things.

Thanks!! :)

Aww! I love the pic of Camille's butt, lol! I love it when they hang by their tails with their feet off the floor! That l'il spotty baby sure looks grumpy about something!:D

Hey Jann. The babies are awesome. I cant believe how big they are for their age! In S.A petstores have veileds 6 weeks old and only just starting to develope their casques, and yours look like 3-4 month olds!
And they are so colourful.
Will you ever bring another batch of them into the world?:D

I was thinking what would be pretty cool is if you had to breed a Lui baby and a lombardi baby, the outcome of that would be pretty impressive!

I wish I could get 1 of those females from you!

I'll join Tiff in complimenting Camille - the babies are loverly, as always, but Mom needs to know she's appreciated, too. ;) - I appreciate you, Camille! - You're looking great!

Thanks so much everyone for all of you kind words.

Lisa crepe myrtle will be fine. Luie use to have a crepe myrtle tree before it died.

I use to bake the branches but not anymore. I just wash them and clean them well and let them lay out in the direct sun a few days before I put them in the cage. Those are just regular thumb tacks.

chameleonneeds, I'm not planning to ever breed again....just too hard on Camille. I do have 5 eggs that are still looking good from her retained clutch.

Juli just got a Luie & Camille baby from me and some lombardi babies so there very well could someday be a mating there.

Camille is very much appreciated around here. She's treated like a queen! I only wish more people in the US would have females as pets only, like Tiff, Sally, Ronnie and Gary in the UK. Olimpia did give one of my girls a "pet type" home. She post pictures of Charlotte yesterday and she's looking great!

I wish I lived where it was warm longer!! The babies are great, and I love that stripey one!! Camile looks great! She looks like such a honey...:)

Once again Jann ~ Thanks for posting pictures of Luca ~ I now it's only 2 weeks before I pick him up, but seems like an eternity. You posting pictures helps greatly. Camille is looking mighty sassy herself!

those babys are adorable, chamtastic; and i like the cage , i'm going to have to order another one because i had to use the one i innitally got for KnicKnak as a hospital fcage for KnoKnut, but i dont like it because the lock on door is noot propotiened to the strength in my hands, its so small u gotta have baby feet to open it; and it's ok for an outdoor cage, they all have to have one, so i want to get a better one for gyrly
