This is my first post on Chameleon Forums. I picked up a Blue Bared Ambilobe from a fellow forum member but the more I research the more I think he might be another locale or possibly a hybrid. Can anyone confirm this?
It could pass for a pedigree Nosy Be. Many are not used to seeing the Nosy's with some yellow in their background, but they do exist like that in the wild. Got a few fresh-off-the-boat that look like that, and have always seen some of that ilk as fresh imports. They are considered the ugly type of Nosy Be, and aren't usually pictured as much. It is possible it has a touch of mixed blood in it, but every locale has its less-typical variants that do not quite resemble the stunner pics that so many post, and that so many identify with locales. As it is not the most-typical of what we expect, it will always be a little bit harder of a sell. Good luck.
