Can Chameleons Dream?

I peeked in on my sleeping girl last night and instead of her usual plain lime green, she had dark stripes/spots all over her along with the lime green as a base color. She was still sound asleep. I was putting a towel over her cage and she slightly woke up and then went back to sleep with her usual lime green colors, no spots or stripes. I am not sure how long she had the colors before I came in to check on her, but they went away in an instant. That is why I ask the question: can chameleons dream?

Aww poor rhinos! I wonder why rhinos can't dream :(. Perhaps I did catch my girl in a sweet little dream. Or maybe a nightmare . . . ?

I would assume animals dream. especially since my dogs start growling and kicking there paws while they’re sleeping lol. Always funny when I’m watching tv and my pups sleeping and starts growling.

as they have differents sleep stage and this special "dream" stage called REM sleep like human i think they can dream but i dont think they god thoses elaborate and symbolized dream a human can have ;)

Once, when I was holding Gary, my veiled, and it was late, he fell asleep in my hand. He did the same thing: he started off bright, then turned dark. All of a sudden, he woke up, through his arms up in front of him and darted off my hand. I had to catch him mid air. He turned and looked at me with 1 mitten up and his throat out, then calmed right back down, curled up and started to go back to sleep. I put him back on his branch-bed (his favorite spot to sleep) and died laughing. . .once I caught my breath from being so scared.
