Can I feed my chameleon this butterfly?

They are literally everywhere, every night lately.

I started trying to search but I'm unsure of how to correctly describe this particular butterfly. I went bug hunting for her and I found a butterfly and thought she would love it but I know some are poisonous. If anyone has any input I would love to hear it!
I'm pretty sure it's a pipevine swallowtail and they are kinda going extinct or at least very rare. Where do you live? I'd stick to the other critters but not trying to be a buzz killer tree huger

It's actually a mimic of the pipevine swallowtail. I already covered this for him. Completely harmless butterfly because it's just a mimic

Woah thanks so much for all of the replies! That was definitely the same butterfly. I ended up letting it but glad to know for future. There's lot if useful information in this thread that I appreciate! I live in southeast Iowa by the way, seems like it's still a little early still to find much but I thought she would enjoy a change in her diet now that it's the time of year to find things outdoors. I was searching in my grandparents timber they have about 13 acres of land and they don't spray so I feel okay about them not having pesticides or things harmful. Anyways thanks again!!
