I was wondering if I could Feed my Veiled and Panther Chams Superworms??
I would put them in there feeding cup but have heard to cut the heads off so they don't cause problems to the Chams Innards? Is this a fact or just a myth? I regularily feed them crickets but want to give them a treat and not sure what to try, they didn't go for the waxworms I bought and want to try something else that is safe. Thanks

I feed my guys super worms. 2 worms every other week for years never had a problem. Main diet is still crickets.

I've been feeding my 5 month old panther superworms! Its one of the only things he'll eat out of my hands. It's the mealworms that isn't good for chameleons. Harder for them to digest.

Superworms are OK for a treat but not a staple. They are high in fat and relatively low in other nutrients. Mealworms are even worse nutritionally. It is not true that they will hurt your cham by biting them from the inside.
