I have a panther chameleon and noticed he started to shed late last night. Now i woke up, his sheddings are seperating from his body but haven't fallen off yet . Do i still mist him still???

I was thinking the dryer he is ,the faster the skin will fall off.

There are mixed opinions on that. I would continue to mist as normal. You might even find that stimulates him to move around more which can help the shed along.

Low humidity makes it harder for them to shed, definitely keep misting. Mine shed the fastest when humidity is high. It takes them much longer when the humidifier is off.

i mist even more when they are in shed i just make sure they have enought time for the skin to dry up so it flakes off.
in the wild rain dosent stop for shedding chams

I haven't been through a chameleon shed yet... but even bearded dragons do better with higher humidity during shed time, it softens the shedding skin and helps it separate from the new skin, it also tends to break less so you get fewer unshed scales that they have to rub off.

Good luck with your little guy shedding! And watch out, all lizards can be grumpy when shedding or go off their feed a bit, it's normal. :)

Thanks you Guys!

It totally makes sence. The higher the humidity, the faster the skin will come off since its moist and he will move around which will create it from falling off as easy.

Also make sure to not hit him with the water when he´s shedding, this may make the skin stick to his body so he´ll get problems with shedding properly.

Wooo I just got done misting him and fed him water through a spray bottle. After that it seemed like he was choking ...slimy water was coming out of his mouth . All of a sudden he fell from out side his terrium and landed on the grass. He seems ok , I don't know

Maybe you gave him too much water.
It´s important to stop dripping when he raises his head.
It´s best to provide water in a place he needs to stretch his head downwards in order to drink.
This way you can easily see when he raises his head to swallow.

fed him water through a spray bottle

I take it that you shot water into his mouth. That's sort of dangerous. It's better to let the water drip onto his head/nose and let him drink at his own pace.
