Can I wake up and move my Cham if he's sleeping upside down or sideways?

Should I wake him up if he's sleeping upside down or if he's hanging on the side of the cage or should I just leave him? I'm afraid he's going to fall while sleeping.

You should really just leave him be. My Female Veiled at times will sleep on the side of her cage like that and even on a hanging vine in her enclosure(vertically on a hanging vine) perfectly normal. They have a death grip when sleeping lol :D

No just leave him alone. I once had to wake my chameleon up while he was in a dead sleep to move him and I will never do that again. He totally freaked out and I thought he was gonna have a stroke or something. That is how upset he was. Sometimes they will just pick the strangest places and positions to fall asleep, but best is to just le them be.

Mine does the opposite. If i move while sleeping he just stays in place and i just hope the feet clamp onto something in the new position.

Why do you want to move him when he is sleeping? If he chose that position to sleep in, he must have been comfortable with it.

My veiled always sleeps in the back corner up against the cage wall, he doesn't fall or anything. I'm sure chameleons know what positions they can safely fall asleep in. :)
