Can someone confirm his locale

I vote Ambanja...

Looks like a faly only because of the red rain. If he had more white in him, then i'd forsure guess Faly.

But the recent shed picture def made me think Ambanja. My last Ambanja looked like a Faly when I first got him. But all of the sudden greens and dark blues came in haha.

Great looking Ambanja nonetheless.

I should have been clearer... This, to me, looks like an "American" Nosy Faly. I am not trying to start up the purity debate, but I have read a lot of Faly's over here do not have a solid white body due to some mislabeled F1 females, resulting in mixing with Nosy Be and Ambanja.

Doesn't the red in Ambanjas usually occur within the bars? This red is more like a faly.

I would definitely go with ambanja on this one. Maybe some faly in him a few generations back. Even the "American" falys have nice, bright yellow eye turrets and lips pretty consistently.

Either way, good lookin little dude.

Ambanja or ambanja/faly cross but not pure Faly. On top of the head, rostral, body color etc being wrong the "blue" bar's are too blue. Faly barring comes out of the greens not out of the royal blue. Falys always have almost an aqua to teal barring

Lol @ " American" Nosy Faly

:D

I wouldnt call keeping two locales together "irresponsible" if they are just going to sell them as panther chameleons unknown locale. Dumb, yes but its not like they are keeping veiled babies with bitaneatus babies that require quite different husbandry. To try and tell him not to breed it is no ones decision at all either. I am not one who thinks mixing locales is a good idea but Im not going to tell anyone the shouldnt breed whatever if they want to. I would suggest calling the babies you get from them an unknown locale though.

He is scared of hell from this guy

I would too if I were him lol. But is that blue bar red body ambilobe? He's so amazing!

Regarding yours, I am not sure. But if it's an ambanja from what I know there should be yellowish stripe near the mouth and cheek. So I would go with faly.

Got news for ya bro. Falys have yellow lips and cheeks also so thats not a good way to Id a faly. Thats a banja judging from the rostral and the barring.

Thanks mate for the useful info. Still need more to learn :)
I just realized that fally has wider yellow area at cheeks than banja does. Am I right?

I want to know if all blue bar amibilobe panthers will be having the same body pattern and color when they all mature and a year or so? Or do they still varry among blue bar ambilobe panthers? Thanks :)
